AThis focused consultation is designed for:

  • Girls age 14 and older

  • Boys age 16 and older

  • Children who have already had a bone age X-ray

  • Families who want another pediatric endocrinologist's perspective on remaining growth

  • Families who have questions about predicted adult height

  • Your child has a complex endocrine condition requiring comprehensive evaluation

In these situations, a comprehensive pediatric endocrinology appointment may be more appropriate.

What You Will Learn

What We'll Help You Understand

Your Child's Bone Age

What the bone age result means and how it compares with your child's chronological age.

Remaining Growth Potential

What your child's growth history and bone age may suggest about how much growth remains.

Predicted Adult Height

How predicted adult height is estimated and what factors can affect that estimate.

The Bigger Growth Picture

How bone age fits together with your child's growth pattern, puberty, family heights, and other available clinical information.

What Comes Next

Whether additional evaluation or pediatric endocrinology follow-up may be appropriate.

Bone age and adult-height predictions are estimates and should be interpreted in the context of the child's overall growth and clinical history.

What happens after a one-time consultation?

A one-time consultation is designed to address a specific question or concern and does not include ongoing physician messaging, ongoing monitoring, or concierge access.

If no additional endocrine care is needed, we'll tell you.

If your child would benefit from continued monitoring, treatment, or easier access to their endocrinologist, we'll explain your options for ongoing care, including concierge membership when appropriate.
